Favorite Beyond The Line Question

What Would You Do If Your Parents Told You That You Could Not Go To School And Get Your Education?

Do you have strict parents? Are they really demanding about you getting your education? But what if your parents weren't like that? In fact what if your parents told you they didn't want you to go to school? What would you do? I would secretly go to school without my parents knowing.I would no longer have any respect for my parents. Finally I would move with another relative that would allow me to go to school.
I would sneak off when my parents went to work, and leave school early to arrive home before they did.Even though my education would be limited in a way, I would at least have a little bit of smarts. I would also act uneducated while around my parents so they would not get suspicious of what I was doing.
Another thing I would do is go to live with another relative that would allow me to attend school.I would tell my parents I am going somewhere else and never come back.I will never let them know where I am.And tell the relative not to tell them as well.
The last thing is I would have no more respect for my parents. If they set a curfew for me I would break it every day.I would curse around them and give them no respect.Just because they wouldn't want me to better myself. They would become my worst enemies.
In conclusion I would like to say I wish my parents would never do anything like that in real life, because if they did I would to do all those things, and I wouldn't like to.

Graduation 2012

Research says less than 50% of the 9th graders that enter high school graduate out of the 12th grade.I know I won't bein that category.I have too many things going for me to not graduate in the tear 2012.My family, my future, and my commitment to myself.
First of all the reason
I will graduate in the year 2012 is because my family.By my family,I mean my mom,my older brother, and my teachers. My mom because she supports me on whatever I want to do.My older brother because he keeps me out of trouble, and keeps me on the right track. My teachers because people say your teachers are your parents away from home.So they keep me on top of my work.
Secondly, my future is another reason why I will walk across that stage to recieve my diploma.I see people on the lying streets I start to think, do I want to be like that in 20 years. So I push myself to be the best I can be, so I won't end up like that. Also a lot of people care about me, and my future.Everyone wants the best for me, and noone wants to see me fall down.
Lastly, is my commitment to myself.Because if I don't do my part I will have a messed up future.I stay away from trouble and I am always into my school work.I don't want to be like those guys on the corner selling drugs,so I stay away.
In conclusion all of the things I recently mentioned are the reasons I will graduate in the year 2012,my family,my future, and my commitment to myself. So I won't let anything come in the way of me and my goals.

Election 2008 on Gun Control Laws

Where Barack Obama stands on the issue of gun laws he believes that they should band the sale or transfers of all forms of semi-automatic weapons. He wants to increase in state restrictions on the purchase and possession of firearms.
On the same issue of gun control laws John McCain feels you should only be strict with the gun law if you are a hardened criminal. Obama feels you should be strict on everyone.
I agree with Barack Obama because you don't have to be a hardened criminal to be dangerous with a weapon. In the begining I would vote for Obama but after reading the passage that strengthened my reasons for voting for Obama and not McCain.

In ten years I will be......

In ten years I will be 24 years old. I wish to be in college studying law. I want to become a successful criminal justice lawyer. I want tobecome a lawyer because I love defending people, and I always have to get my point across. So why not do what I love and get paid for it.
If that dosen't work out in ten years I wish to be a superstar in the NBA. I wouldlike to attend St.Josephs University for college. From there I will begin my successful career as a superstar. That is where Iwould like to be in ten years.
